This practice was recorded during a live yoga nidra practice in Baltimore, MD. There’s some occasional coughing, but I’m pretty sure the snoring in the room wasn’t loud enough to be heard on the tape! The practice is about 40 minutes long.

It really starts to feel like fall when October hits. Guess it motivated me, along with some emails form listeners out there. It *really* does help to keep these practices coming when I hear from you! Send me a note and tell me why you listen to these things!

Just a note that this one is *long* and I recorded it at a slightly higher bit rate than the last couple so your best best is to stream it directly from this page at www.contemplatethis.org.

Live yoga nidra practice - read Note before listening!

This Yoga Nidra practice was recorded live during a class at breathe books in Baltimore on May 25, 2008. This is a straight practice with no instructions on setup or description of what yoga nidra is but you can get that from earlier practices if you like. Since this was live there are students coughing, birds singing, etc… let this be your practice!

NOTE - before this practice began I asked the students to consider an emotion they would like to work with as well as its opposite so you might want to do the same so you are not confused when we get to that part (about 25 minutes in).
