Join me at Ojas Wellness for a post-holiday stress-reducing workshop. We’ll have plenty of time to deeply relax and still the waters with body sensing, yoga nidra, and other accessible meditative practices both still and moving. There is no previous yoga experience required so it can be a wonderful gift for those on your list who could benefit from relaxation skills.

Wind down from the holiday while gearing up for the new year with a calm clear outlook. The cost of the workshop is $25 and you can sign up in advance on Ojas’ website. Ojas is located in the Mount Washington Village and parking is provided.

On the 3rd Sunday of every month, Paula Laird Berzanksi leads a yoga nidra practice at Ojas Wellness Center in Owings Mills. Please verify time/location at www.ojaswellness.com.

Paula Berzanski was certified as a Yoga teacher by the renowned American Viniyoga Institute and the Kripalu Centre of Yoga and Health completing more than 700 hours of instruction. She is also a certified Yoga Therapist and Positional Release Therapist. Her instruction includes postures, meditation and breathing. She specializes in working with the “mature” student, those with physical challenges and teaching the students how to adapt postures to suit their own, unique needs. As a person living with a chronic pain condition herself, she brings a level of expertise that allows any one to practice Yoga.

Paula first began teaching Yoga Nidra as substitute. She began to see positive changes in students brought on by the practice, and began to teach her own Yoga Nidra classes in 2007. She has seen first-hand, that Yoga Nidra is a restorative practice and a perfect adjunct to Yoga with postures.

Yoga Nidra practices are led by Sue Borchardt and offered by donation (thanks Susan!!)
Since breathe is not a yoga studio there are only a few props so bring along blankets, cushions, or other padding to make yourself comfortable on the floor. You might also want to dress in layers.
